So a while ago, I got a Wattpad account on advice from a friend. I meant to post about this sooner but I kept forgetting. I’ve only written short stories so far, but I’d like to get to more longer stuff. Plotting and world-building really take a bit. Have a Wattpad? Check me out @IcyNotBubbly. I’m working on the third short story for my runaways trilogy (titled A Night in Eden but I might change it to match the other two) and a longer story.
On another note, volume 11 of The Demon Prince of Momochi House came out last Tuesday. I’ll try to get the summary for it out soon, I won’t give a date or timeline, but I will say, OMG! Creepy, awesome, why-can’t-I-get-the-next-volume-now-what-happens-next? feel. So stay tuned for that!
I hope everybody has a pleasant weekend!
It’s the middle of summer and you know what that means! Well, it can mean anything, from reading, to writing, to movies, to food! Write about one or more of the following:
-a nostalgic moment
You can mix and match if you want; whatever gets those creative juices flowing. Or just write about summer in general. Whatever it means for you. Good luck and happy writing!
I guess since Valentine’s Day is next week we’ll try something in that vein. Write a piece with one of these titles:
“The Chocolate in the Box”
“Big Teddy Travesty”
“A Rose for Emily, A Violet for Georgia”
Good luck with these and happy writing! ❤
Include these words/phrases in your piece:
-luscious sunset locks
-riding into the sunset
-those pesky lawnmower stripes
Good luck with this one and happy writing!!
It’s been too long!!! Well, let’s get to it! Try using these lines in a piece:
“Okay, I need you all to hug the wall.”
“I’ve hugged this wall more than my own family!”
Good luck, good health (been sick lately), and happy writing!!!
A little late in the day but here’s something for you:
write a piece about the apocalypse; but DON’T include:
I know, I’m probably taking the fun out of it. But I’m putting a little more fun back in to get your creative juices flowing. Good luck my peeps and happy writing!!
Halloween’s over (booo!) but if you’re Latino, Día de Muertos has begun! For any who don’t know, Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead is a two-day holiday (Nov. 1 & 2) originating in Mexico where people honor their dearly departed loved ones. For more info, check it out here.
Anyways, here’s a twofer for you! You can pick either of the two prompts or do both, it’s up to you. You can’t even combine the two (le gasp! Bold)!
-Use the this image in your Day of the Dead story: a road of marigold petals.
-Write a story using the five senses to describe the season of Autumn.
Good luck and happy writing!!
